Traefik Labs Launches MCP Gateway, NVIDIA Safety NIMs Integration, and Platform-Wide Offline Deployment

Enhanced platform enables complete AI governance from public cloud to air-gapped defense systems

ORACLE AI WORLD, Las Vegas – [October 14, 2025] – Traefik Labs, creator of one of the world's leading cloud-native application proxies with over 3.4 billion downloads, today announced strategic expansions to its enterprise AI infrastructure platform, delivering AI sovereignty for regulated industries and security-conscious enterprises. The company unveiled native support for three NVIDIA Safety NIMs within its AI Gateway, launched a new MCP Gateway for AI agent governance, and introduced comprehensive offline deployment capabilities across its entire platform.

Come visit Traefik Labs this week Oct 14th & 15th at Oracle AI World, Booth #6001.

Enterprise AI Runtime Governance, Anywhere

Most enterprise AI solutions create dual lock-in: dependency on specific LLM providers and the cloud platforms hosting them. Cloud-based AI services require organizations to send sensitive data to their infrastructure for AI safety and governance, making it impossible to maintain data sovereignty or switch providers without major rework. This limits flexibility for enterprises pursuing multi-cloud strategies and blocks adoption entirely in regulated industries and security-conscious organizations.

Traefik's platform eliminates this dual lock-in by delivering consistent AI governance as infrastructure. As a decoupled layer between AI workloads and underlying infrastructure, it enables organizations to enforce unified governance policies across any environment: multi-cloud, hybrid, on-premises, or completely air-gapped. Organizations get the same safety controls, agent policies, and compliance frameworks whether running on AWS today and Oracle tomorrow, or in a classified facility with zero internet connectivity.

"Enterprises need infrastructure that's as portable as their applications," said Sudeep Goswami, CEO at Traefik Labs. "We're delivering AI governance that works identically everywhere, from multi-cloud deployments to completely disconnected environments. That's what unblocks enterprise AI."

Traefik delivers this through three integrated capabilities:

AI Gateway with NVIDIA Safety NIMs: Traefik AI Gateway now natively supports three NVIDIA Safety NIMs: Topic Control, Content Safety, and Jailbreak Detection. These chain together to create multi-layered safety pipelines that run entirely offline with NVIDIA's validated security lifecycle. Organizations get enterprise-grade AI protection without sending a single packet to the cloud.

MCP Gateway for Agent Governance: The new MCP Gateway provides identity-driven governance for AI agents accessing databases, APIs, and enterprise systems. Unlike traditional API gateways that lack agent visibility, the MCP Gateway enforces granular control over tools, tasks, and transactions with scoping by resource type, operation (read vs. write), and transaction attributes. This prevents compromised agents from exfiltrating data or executing unauthorized actions, even if the underlying LLM has been manipulated.

Platform-Wide Offline Deployment: The entire Traefik platform (AI Gateway, MCP Gateway, API Management) now runs in comprehensive offline mode across any infrastructure. Deploy from Oracle Cloud to private datacenters to completely air-gapped military installations with identical features and performance. Zero external dependencies.

Industry Perspective

"Enterprises are rushing AI into production, often with security bolted on as an afterthought, if at all. theCUBE Research reports that 45% of organizations already have LLMs in production, even as AI-specific security capabilities struggle to keep pace. Safety controls are fragmented, inconsistently applied, and rarely integrated. What Traefik has done with NVIDIA Safety NIMs is shifting this dynamic by offering a prescriptive, modular framework where enterprises can chain safety controls into a coherent pipeline without being locked into a rigid architecture. The fact that it works identically in public cloud or fully air-gapped environments is a game-changer for regulated industries," said Paul Nashawaty, Practice Lead and Principal Analyst at theCUBE Research.

"MCP governance can't be addressed with traditional API gateways - the protocol is fundamentally different. What Traefik has built with the MCP Gateway is a real solution for enforcing tool, task, and transaction-level policies on AI agents. This level of granularity is essential for production deployments. Having a single platform that works identically across any environment, including air-gapped facilities, is a massive win for enterprise architecture teams," said Ikenna Nwaiwu, Principal Consultant and author of Automating API Delivery: APIOps with OpenAPI.

Oracle Cloud Integration

These capabilities are available today through Traefik's integration with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Oracle has pioneered deployment flexibility across its infrastructure portfolio, spanning OCI public cloud, Cloud@Customer, and specialized environments including C3I and Roving Edge devices for tactical edge computing. Traefik extends this same flexibility to enterprise AI workloads. Organizations can now deploy AI with NVIDIA Safety NIMs and agent governance across Oracle's entire deployment spectrum, maintaining the operational control and regulatory compliance that Oracle infrastructure provides.

Traefik is integrated with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE), and is available on the OCI Marketplace for streamlined deployment.

These capabilities position Traefik as the only platform that provides the sovereignty layer enterprise AI actually needs. While cloud providers focus on compute and AI companies focus on models, Traefik delivers the governance infrastructure that makes deployment viable across any environment.
